It Should be Quick – If you don’t want to wake up sleepy, it is advised to set up an alarm for 20 minutes. Those who don’t know how long should one sleep, let me tell you, there is no such rule. It totally depends on your physical and mental state.
Go Dark Mode – Use an eye mask or take a nap in the dark. You may also try your head in folded arms to catch sleep faster.
Not Tired? Don’t Nap – If you are not dozing off, don’t choose a power nap, rather go for a 15-20 minutes’ walk. That will regulate your digestive system, blood circulation and will fill you with energy.
Stay Away from Distraction – Everybody has a different sleeping pattern. Some sleep with earplugged music while others know how to meditate and sleep within 5 minutes. Just do it your way.
Relax but Don’t be Comfortable – We nap to relax our eyes, mind, body, and soul but if we are too comfortable, it becomes difficult to come out of that comfort zone.
Don’t Nap Close to Bedtime – If it is less than 3-4 hours in your bedtime avoid powernap. If you do so, you will have a hard time sleeping at night. You can take the help of coffee or activity to avoid nap.
