For us to get a clear picture of robotics, we first need to understand the background information and how it evolved to where it is currently. A robot is a machine capable of performing daily duties and tasks that are put together in specific designs and developed by engineers. Robots are useful in industries like surgery, body massage, scientific space exploration, manufacturing, and analysis of code. The History of Robotics
The earliest robot version is that they were extensively primitive, having the ability to tell the time and also entertain people by staging a performance.

It was not until 1921 when Karez Capek coined the word “robot.” The Czech writer defined a robot as automata in fiction. In 1942, Isaac Asimov made the name famous by rewriting history after the world war era.
❖In 1945, a famous engineer in the field of science called Leonard Da Vinci crafted and designed the Robot Knight, which could stand, sit, and use its limbs with the help of cables and a pulley.
❖In 1946, a computer and an electronic Numeric Integration device were in the market. In 1950, a C-10 computer language got developed for UNIVAC 1. Also Unimate, an industrial robot was invented by George Devol.
❖Inventions graced the medical field during the 1960s and 1970s. The devices include Shakey (1966), Stanford Arm (1969), Silver Arm (1974), which later on led to Puma (1985) and CyberKnife (1992).
